Prevent your pipes from corrosion. Our filter media inhibit corrosion, particularly iron, steel, galvanized, copper and lead, by coating the surface of your pipes. The coating also helps to stabilize chlorine as the chlorine will not react with the metal pipe if the coating exists.
The filter is made of patented scale inhibitor and is capable of filtering up to 150,000 gallons of water, or lasting for 12 months (depending on inline water quality). The filter is tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF 42/60 standards.
