I ordered and installed the ISpring 5-Stage RO Water Filtration System about a couple months back. I guess I was not very lucky because I got a system with multiple defective parts. However because of the defective parts, I learned that the ISpring's customer services is the best I have ever seen, bar none. In short, the defective system was making a grunting sound and the ppm was high. I wrote to ISpring and Andrew and Claudia went into action and help me out. After multiple exchanges of email, they sent me a new valve and a new membrane filter which resolved the problem. Yes, the troubleshooting process was a bit frustrating but the end result was great. Now, I get to enjoy the great tasting clean water and knowing that I will have outstanding customer service/support by ISpring. I show how confident I am with this product/company, I even ordered three years of replacement filters. Please keep up the good work!..

I've had this system for two years now and I really like it. This RO filtered water has improved my health. I can taste the difference and my digestive tract knows the difference. My son installed it for me and I was able to change the filters myself. This system is a great bargain: cheaper and more convenient than purchasing bottled water. And for those of us with health challenges; it saves on medical costs. Removing the fluoride will certainly help with longevity and mental alertness...

I purchased this product to replace an existing RO unit. The local water (Culligan) dealer wanted $800 and I figured most of it was labor since it was going to be almost that much just to get the unit without the tank and faucet that I didn't need. I chose this one because it was listed as #1 on the top 5 RO list online. I am a 51 year old woman who is capable so I figured I would try installing it myself. I watched the video and read the instructions, as instructed. I inserted the filters and tightened the containers with the included wrenches by hand. Because I already had the faucet and drain hooked up and didn't want to re-do those lines, I cut off the ends of the black hose (same size as colored hoses that came with product), slipped off the brass nut and cleaned with 90% alcohol. I slipped them into the new unit without any trouble. I did this for all 4 hoses. Since this unit has 3 containers for filters and my old one only had 2, I just set it on the ground under my sink so I di..

Ordered from Home Depot after returning a similar system from Menards because of very bad reviews. I installed the unit in the basement under the kitchen sink for easy access. I needed to buy longer tubing ($3.00) but stayed within 15' of the provided faucet.I also feed the ice maker with the additional kit. I read the instructions & watched the video several times & it took about 3 hrs including the trip for more tubing. It's a great system, easy to install (no runs,no drips no errors) & great water quality. Highly Recommended!!! Seeya Culligan..

Purchased this system approximately 1 year ago. I was able to install the system minus some user error (ensure tubes are pressed into their housings tightly by pushing until they snap in. Otherwise you will be harassing the iSpring customer service team which was very helpful and patient.) System has been operating properly (to my standard of water taste) and the filters are easy to change and relatively inexpensive. I highly recommend this system...

We were needing a new unit because my old one was over 8 years old , it was pieced together with various filters from other units and the bladder in the tank ruptured . I purchased a 7 -stage unit . lam very happy with it , the instructions were dead on and very explanatory . this unit is very compact for the number of processes it supplies .I installed it in just 2 hours including new sink traps .l would recommend it to anyone . We LOVE this system! It was super easy to install and we have it hooked up to the ice maker. We did have to purchase a couple extra pieces to connect to the ice maker, but otherwise it had everything we needed plus extra pieces. The water is so good! We live in a village that uses well water through a water tower. The water is very soft; but has too much fluoride, too much chlorine, and the water has a sulphur smell and taste - this system removes all of it. DEFINITELY worth the money! It shipped quickly as well. Thanks for the fantastic product!..

I purchased this unit for my daughter fo Xmas. I liked it so much, I am ordering another for myself. I am an instrument tech with construction experience, so I appreciate equipment that is well thought out. The unit install was a snap. All parts were included and the instructions were clear. I tested the water from the cold and hot tap before the install and TDS (total disovled solids) were 260 and 360 respectivly. After the unit was installed and settling time allowed, the water stabilized around 12 ppm TDS. We ran the waste water line outside to water plants. Wow, what an easy unit to install, works as described, all parts included. The upgraded nickel spout was a bonus and worth it. Our total install time was 2 hrs, but I move slow and take my time. Not one leak. Oh and the flood alarm that came with the unit is also a bonus. Life is not perfect and I can make mistakes (forget an o-ring is always a possibility with me), so I will use the alarm along with a little plastic tr..

I ordered the RCC7 unit due to health concerns of the various chemicals that can be in city water; I was mostly concerned with fluoride, but want the purest water for me and my family. The unit arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. A lot of the earlier reviews comment on the supplied instructions being vague or hard to follow, iSpring obviously listened and rewrote the manual in an easy to use format. I installed the unit in the basement directly below the kitchen sink, up in the floor joist. Made for a nice clean install. I made a wooden cradle for the 3.2 gallon tank to fit horizontally in between the joists. I previously had a Sears Kenmore dual stage water filtration system in the same location, so I already had a water tap with a 1/2" copper line and shut off valve. The filter system is mounted above our utility sink downstairs, so that when I change the filters the water will fall into the sink. Instead of using the saddle to tap the waste water into the drain line, I..

I've never owned or used an RO system before, so I don't have much basis for comparison. But this filter basically works as advertised, storing approximately 2 gallons ( my water pressure is slightly under the recommended 40 psi so I think the air pressure in the tank starts to resist before it's completely full ) and filling up in something like an hour or two. My TDS meter isn't very reliable but it does read out much lower values for the RO water, and the difference is obvious in the taste. I've also been using the water for hydroponic gardening. I'm happy with the product now that the installation mess is almost over ( still haven't gotten around to reassembling the faucet ) . Initially I was upset and posted a poor review, but the customer service department was pretty adamant about seeing me satisfied and even offered a supply of replacement filters to compensate for the installation trouble. A lot of what I went through was pure bad luck; most people seem to have a muc..

I'll admit that when I first opened the box I got a little scared that installation would be difficult. I was happy to find that the color coded tubing and well diagrammed instructions made it a snap. I've been using it for a few weeks now primarily to supply my aquarium. It produces plenty ( rated 75 GPD ) for that and handles all our ( family of three ) drinking/coffee maker needs as well...

I installed this system myself. It took me a while because I had to get a few more parts at the hardware store, in order to tap into the water supply properly, underneath my sink. No leaks. The water where I live isn't bad at all, and I didn't notice too much of a difference. Comparing the tastes of tap water and the filtered water, the filtered water has no chlorine taste, but it really doesn't feel as 'crisp' as I would expect. It actually tastes kind of 'dead', almost like distilled water. I have flushed the system twice already, but the very first glasses of water - after the unit has not been used for about 10 hours - has a gray color. I'm not sure why this happens, but the second or third glass of water pours in clear. Maybe the water will be colorless on the first glass as the unit gets more use. What I have noticed though is that coffee tastes **a lot** smoother using the filtered water. Overall I recommend this unit, but if you have already good quality water where you live, d..

I received the product in a timely fashion. I did not install the system, a friend is a plumber and I had him do the work. While I have not done any comprehensive tests on the water it produces, I have tested it with a six panel fresh water aquarium test strip. It shows zero across the board for anything extra in the water. I bought this system primarily for the making water for my aquariums both fresh water and salt, however have also used the water for drinking and cooking. I have no complaints about this system and would recommend it...

Bought and installed this system myself without any real issues. Although the directions aren't well written, plumbing it in was easy if you follow the diagrams. In my case, I didn't connect this to the faucet they provided. Instead, I connected it to my refrigerator water line, replacing an external water filter. My water has very high TDS and sulfur, and the main house feed runs through a peroxide treatment system to clean up the sulfur. Removing the TDS is much harder, but this system seems to do a decent job. After main treatment, my TDS is well over 600. After this system, TDS is around the 40 mark. Tip for installers: you may have leaks at the seal for the pressure tank inlet valve. I didn't tighten it quite enough the first time and had a small leak there. The instructions tell you not to over tighten this fitting, but it will leak if under tightened. Keep a close eye on it when you first pressurize the system and watch this fitting for leaks...

I have tried many different brands of filters including some of the big name brands and none of them can beat the quality and the price of iSpring. I've tested all of them for purity and most of them had a reading of over 100 ( lower number means more pure ) . I got similar results with bottled water. iSpring was 15! I have to say that I'm very satisfied with this product and feel better knowing that my family is drinking clean healthy water, and saving money in the process. I had a little trouble following the installation instructions, even though I read them through front-to-back- as suggested, but most were overcome by carefully examining provided illustrations. Illustrations seem to be few and not always in agreement with instructions. More detailed illustrations keyed to the instruction step would make installation easier. One of the factory-installed connectors was cross-threaded, but I was able to re-seat it correctly to prevent any leaks. The supply water tap required an excessive amount of teflon thread tape to obtain a leak-proof seal. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the operation of my Reverse-Osmosis Filtration System and would recommend it to others...

Ordered Wed received by Fri noon. Nicely packaged. Every little piece needed for complete regular or irregular installation included, truly a kit, extra parts too. I have experience with various home improvement jobs and directions were simple and mostly clear. I sat with the manual to read it completely to understand what I was modifying before attempting the job. 1hr install with 2yo. I had 450tds now I have 20tds. This is great! If I want to polish down to 5tds or so I can just replace the filters, but to the filters I choose, and within a year all filters except the membrane will be changed anyway, some twice. Also, if you need 0tds, just tee another canister to the output with a high quality DI cartridge. I would recommend this kit to anyone who feels comfortable changing a faucet without supervision...

I bought this based on what I read about fluoride and all of the other awefull stuff the government puts in our drinking water ( seriously be afraid ) my tap water was at about 250 ppm, after installing this osmosis system it is now reading 20 ppm. A huge improvement. If you buy bottled water this will provide you with better water and will pay for itself in less than a year. Oh and the water tastes great!! Just installed the system tonight. Very good so far and pretty easy install for DIY home owner. REALLY helps the crappy calcium filled, chlorine overdosed water from my municipality. My only two problems are that the fittings used to tap into the cold water supply are not good enough quality for my taste, since they leak. Also I had hoped for some sort of air gap type of drain from the filter to ensure any backups from my drain don't contaminate my filters. The leak is minimized if you follow instructions explicitly and use teflon tape instead of pipe dope ( thread compound, which is normally my preference ) . If the leak doesn't subside by the morning I will re-plumb with new fittings. Other than that, the system is great. All the fittings on the filter are quick connect and are of good quality, like the rest of the system. The seller ( 123filter ) was quick to ship and very reasonably priced. The system was purchased because of it's affordability and compatibility with i..

The best RO filter at this price. For an aquarium fan like me, a source of clean water is essential. I live in a desert town in CA. The city water could be the dirtiest in the country. The TDS meter reads 300-500 ppm in different seasons. I have tried carbon and PP filters but none of them could reduce the PPM to below 200. With some basic education about water treatment, I found Reverse Osmosis is the only cost effective solution. I spent some time researching RO filters on Internet and bought a WATTs unit three years ago. It did the work but later replacement cartridges cost me a leg. Then I found this wonderful seller. Its unit is very similar to WATTs. The seller implied it is made in the same factory that provide OEM for brand names. Both the unit and replacement cartridge are at fraction cost. With that in mind, I purchased one unit and a set of pre-filters-of-three. It worked like a charm so I came back to order another two for my mother and sister. The package arrived quickl..

I purchased this unit to replace a Watts Premier I had for 5 years overseas. I had a local plumber come to help install it - he has a lot of experience with filters and came highly recommended. He was not impressed with the unit as soon as I took it out of the packaging. The pieces are all lightweight plastic, the filters and membrane have the correct stamps on them - " 75 gpd RO membrane, " " 10 micron carbon filter, " etc. - but when he showed me comparable filters, membranes and pieces from Italy, the quality difference was immediately obvious. The membrane came with the blue coloring rubbed-off in the plastic bag and the flow restrictor was from a 50 gpd membrane, and not a 75 gpd. When I wrote to the suppliers about this, they immediately responded that they had never received any negative comments and they would replace the membrane right away. The fact that I live overseas and needed to wait until I had someone coming to visit me meant I didn't respond right away. Sa..
