iSpring WSPARB Reusable Spin-down Sediment Water Filter with Scraper and Touch-Screen Auto Flushing, 50 Micron, 35 GPM, 1-MNPT, 3/4-inch FNPT
About this item
- Flushable and reusable. Used to create a multi-layer gradient filtration system taking considerable workload off finer filters that follow it and result in a longer filter life. As a larger, upgraded version of WSP series, WSP50ARB filters out particulate, sediment, rust, and floating objects.
- Pressure-resistant and durable materials: lead-free brass machine head, 50-micron food grade stainless steel mesh filter screen, and explosion-proof transparent housing. Easy installation. No welding or glue needed. Works well with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipes.
- Integrated Auto Flushing Module(dual power supply) with scraper saves time and effort on routine maintenance. Choose from auto, semi-auto, and manual on HD touch screen to enable the system to flush automatically on a preset schedule.
- Provide a maximum flow rate of 35 GPM. Two types of threads on both two ends of connectors: 1-inch MNPT and 3/4-inch FNPT. Parts included: 1 power adapter, 1 circlip, 3 AA batteries for touch-screen Auto Flushing Module
- 30-day money-back guarantee. 1-year manufacturer warranty. Lifetime tech support from iSpring in Alpharetta, GA at (678) 261-7611.

I'm not sure how this works in practise. The LCD screen is quite dark, and you can hardly see the bottom icons. When compared to the manual flush variant, it is not worth the money.

The brass top is very heavy and should be replaced with pvc. After three weeks, the flush module died. Will not work with batteries or when plugged in.

Using this with a well-water system at my new house. It previously didnt have any filtration, and the water would often start off brown due to the clay soil where I live. Faucet screens full of rocks. Planned on using this as a first-stage with a fine filter after, but I find that this gets coated in clay after a short time and really slows down, even with the wide screen. Didnt realize just how dirty my water was. Easy to flush solid particles with the bottom drain, but it doesnt actually clear the screen of clay. I have to take it apart (wrench isnt really necessary) and strip down the filter element and blast it with water. Right now I have the filter element out because my well ran a little low and clogged it up constantly, need to come up with a coarser sediment filter solution. Overall a good unit, just wish I had multiple sizes of screen for it.
