Are tankless reverse osmosis systems worth it?

Yes.
The tankless reverse osmosis system has built-in booster pumps and high output filters. Plus, it has a higher pure to drain ratio than traditional reverse osmosis water filters. Therefore, a reverse osmosis system is an excellent choice for water treatment to meet the daily clean water needs. Also, the tankless RO system frees more space in the under-sink storage area.

Do I need a reverse osmosis water filter?

A reverse osmosis water filtration system can protect you and your family's health from pollutants in tap water. The RO filtration system can reduce the chemical contaminants that the typical carbon filters cannot effectively eliminate. This under sink water filtration system effectively removes TDS, limescale, up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more.

Is RO water safe to drink long term?

Simply put, Yes. The residential Reverse Osmosis system can remove up to 99% of over 1,000 harmful contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, lead (removes up to 98%) and more, but it will also remove some beneficial minerals. However, water is not a main source of our body minerals. You can find how much minerals you will get from water in Bureau of Reclamation (USBR). Most of the minerals intake is always from daily food and diet. However, there are many issues of drinking water that you should concern, such as chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, lead and more. These contaminants that under sink Reverse Osmosis system removes can have a long-run risk of your health.

Do you need a tank for this under sink Reverse Osmosis?

Traditional reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration systems usually need a tank to store pressurized water to meet the immediate water needs when you turn on the faucet. Secondly, the storage tank will also help with the system's operation. The RO storage tank will keep the pressure for the reverse osmosis machine and automatically turn on / off the system by monitoring the waterline pressure.

Do tankless RO systems work?

Tankless reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration systems are the latest version of the RO water systems. This water system is easier to use and maintain. With state-of-the-art technology, the tankless RO filtration system product purifies water more efficiently. For example, the RO500 membrane is rated at 500 gallons per day with up to 2:1 pure water to wastewater ratio and a flow rate of up to 0.4 gallons per minute, which is 4x more efficient than a traditional reverse osmosis water system. This tankless RO machine also features real-time water quality monitoring, filter change indicator, and quick filter replacement, making it one of the most advanced RO water filtration systems.

What is the Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration?

The reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration technique is one of the most effective filtration devices. The process works by forcing water through an RO membrane that removes most toxins from large sediments to small contaminants like THMs.

RO systems use a series of filters to clean water for specific impurities. This makes the RO water purifier highly versatile and customizable for your local water source and the containments you are concerned about.

How does the tankless reverse osmosis system work?

Tankless Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration Systems are the latest iteration of the RO water filter. As the name suggests, a tankless RO system is a RO system that can operate without a tank.

Except for the absence of storage tanks, a tankless RO filtration system works almost the same as a traditional RO system-water is pushed through a semi-permeable membrane to remove impurities and contaminants. All types of RO systems rely on inlet water pressure to push water through the filter bed in the filtration system.

The low flow rate of the traditional RO water filtration system does not eliminate the long waiting time for the RO water. As our living standards improve, we have introduced an upgraded RO water filtration system with a high storage capacity and no water tank. The most significant advantage of this drinking water filtration system is that it eliminates the pressure tank, thereby saving a lot of space under the sink and eliminating the secondary pollution caused by the storage tank.

Families with limited space can benefit significantly from tankless RO systems; they will not take up too much space like traditional RO systems.

The size of the tankless RO system is about 1/3 of the traditional RO system; the installation simplicity is twice that of a typical filter. These devices are easier to manage, more compact, and produce fresher water. We use built-in booster pumps and a tankless design, making this Reverse Osmosis water purification system easily fit and save under sink space.

Do you need to run the water for a certain period of time before it filters effectively? I’ve heard that can be a problem with tankless systems.

Both traditional and tankless RO water systems will need to rinse for first-time use. First, plug in the RO500, turn on the feed water adapter, and turn on the faucet. Then, rinse the RO membrane for 5 minutes. And turn on the faucet and let it run for at least 30 minutes to flush the system.

Will this Reverse Osmosis water filter system remove the sodium that is produced from salt based water softeners?

RO500 tankless reverse osmosis water system will remove sodium from the source water. Reverse osmosis membrane removes lead (up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, hormones, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more with its 0.0001 (one ten-thousandth) micron.

How often do you change the filter?

Stages 1 & 3 are good for one year, and stage 2 is good for two-three years. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact us at support@123filter.com or call us at (678) 261-7611.

Is the finish on the faucet brushed nickel or is it chrome?

The faucet comes in brushed nickel by default. We have them in chrome if you would like to swap them out. If you would like to do that, please give us a call or send us an email. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact us at support@123filter.com or call us at (678) 261-7611.

Where is the \"filter service life\" button? I cannot find it anywhere on this machine.

On the front of your system, above the bottom filter, three buttons light up; these three buttons are your filter service life buttons. Each filter service life button has some writing that corresponds to one of the three stages. To reset a filter:

Previous firmware-
1. Hold down the corresponding button for three seconds.
2. Wait for it to beep.
3. Hold it down for another three seconds till it beep. Once this is done, the filter has been reset.

New firmware-
1. Hold down the corresponding button for three seconds.
2. Wait for it to beep.
3. Once this is done, the filter has been reset.

Does this Reverse Osmosis filter remove bacteria from source water?

The membrane of this RO water filtration system is 0.0001 microns, small enough to filter out most bacteria and viruses. Still, the system is not designed to disinfect your water or treat it for microorganisms. If your water contains bacteria or other microorganisms we recommend treating this issue directly at the source instead before using any water filters.
