We had this installed and didn't notice a significant difference. About a month later the cord inadvertently got unplugged. Before we realized it had not been working we noticed our whole family's skin became itchy again, clothes were faded and water tasted like pool water again. I checked the device and realized it was unplugged. After getting back up and running our family of 8 were all thankful. Smooth skin, itchy went away, laundry was not getting faded and taste and smell was notably improved. Would definitely recommend if you have city water.
