Worth way more than I paid, this kit was hard to find while sorting through other kits that weren't as good that cost $400+ I've been using R/O for most of my life, it was rather "new" in the 80's and the kits and storage tanks have come a long ways since then. This kit includes replacement filters for 6 months from now, and all the o-rings were lubricated with food-grade silicone grease. Installation was straightforward, though the instructions do use a lot of abbreviations, it would be right at home in the military. The only thing you need to know is that everything is color coded and so put the colors to where they should go for each hose and you're done. Definitely follow the instructions!! Where it says to leave one line loose and get a bucket and turn the system on to purge it, you want to do that. the charcoal filters stir up some carbon at first and there's no sense in coating the r/o membrane with it so quickly. It shoots out a few feet so it's not hard to catch in a bucket while it's partially installed under the sink. After that I just ran it a few times, I'm using my own 5 gallon tank, it's basically new. We'd replaced our old system's tank because it actually rusted through, and recently I took a look at the system and realized how ancient and nasty it was. Upon removal I don't even want to talk about what I found. It's from 2004, enough said. Water tastes and looks great. Very, very happy with the price.

Installed on a home we are selling because the Nitrate level of the well water was slightly elevated. This brings the Nitrate level down to 0. The way it is packaged is excellent. Very well laid out & detailed instructions on how to install. If you can drill a 1/4" hole, you can install this! (Ok, you'll have to have a hole in your sink top - but most do these days - or you will need to be able to drill two holes!!) I replaced the soap dispenser with the faucet - but could have drilled another hole in the granite countertop. The kit includes the filters, PLUS another set of filters for your first change! I really like the color coded water lines. This is handy for the initial install, but trust me, it is even better for future filter changes. Very impressed with the quality for the price.

Our "new" house had awful tasting water. The water was cloudy straight from the tap. Cold or hot, it was murky and I did not like the taste of it. When I found the reverse osmosis system with five filters from Puredrop I was very excited. It took a full day for my husband to install it. It kept leaking, and they warn you that it may leak. So he just kept tightening the canisters whenever they leaked. The leaks were not the systems fault, he had not tightened them very tight from the beginning because it is plastic and he did not want to over tighten them. My first cup of water was divine. Everything I had hoped water would taste like again. It seems like a small thing, water out of your tap, until it is foul and you will not drink it. No more bottled water and I can drink as much as I want again. I am very happy with this system. Everything tastes better. Coffee, tea, and I even noticed my pooch drinking more water. I am very pleased with the system. I included a photo of the system with the color coded tubes attached already. It made it very easy to install because everything is color coded. Even the clips that go over the connectors are color coded. The system included specialty wrenches for the canisters, the wrenches in my picture are my husbands who decided to go ahead and upgrade a couple of our pipes while he was under the sink. I am also pleased that PureDrop sent extra/replacement gaskets for the system. I bought extra filters for later, but the system I bought also came with an extra set. I am telling everyone about this in hopes they can have no fluoride/chlorine water. I plan on buying another system for my brother as a gift.

I rarely write a review. But really this is a great product everything is there well prepared for you to make the installation smooth and easy. It takes down my tap water from 400 TDS to less than 7 (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS . It is worth every penny you pay for this product. In addition it comes with extra sets of filters.

It wasn't the easiest install. Honestly it probably took me close to 2 hours. I was being very meticulous though. Don't let that scare you though, I'm just some random dude and I got it working. Now I have instant access to delicious pure water. Also holy crap but they give you enough extra pieces that you can finagle a tee joint for your fridge. Yes, now I also have delicious pure ice cubes and cool water from my fridge as well. I no longer buy water bottles by the pallet and it makes grocery runs much easier.

We use this filtered water for ourselves and for our salt water fish tank. The water tastes just like Smart Water and other brands of bottled water. The reserve tank makes it easy to get water quickly for the fish tank. It wasn’t really hard to install, but I would suggest reading the directions all the way through first then install it. We read them as we went along and had to backtrack a few times.

If you are looking for the best RO system, at the best price, you do not need to look any further. I did extensive research and found the Puredrop RO system to be the best overall. It has the best price, wonderful support, and is a very well-made quality system.
ISPRING VS PUREDROP
Puredrop is the same company that makes ISpring, which is also a very nice RO system. I was not sure if I should buy the Puredrop RO system compared the ISpring RO system, so I called support and asked the difference. I spoke with both Nick and Don who provided all the answers to my questions so that I could make an educated decision.
ISpring RO t is more money, but you get more for your money: Larger Tank, a Clear 1st Stage tank, and a better faucet. In my case, it is just me and my wife, and I do not need a larger tank and I have a faucet from owning other RO systems and I would only be giving up the clear tank with the Puredrop System.
CLEAR 1st STAGE TANK
If you change your filters on time, there really is no reason to see inside the first stage. If you are forgetful, it may be a good idea to get the Ispring system with the clear first stage tank.
FILTERS AND MEMBRANE
I had other RO systems in the past, and the biggest issue I have found was the cost to replace the filters-especially the membrane, which can be as high as $40 for some name brands—especially if you have to have the check value built into the membrane. The Puredrop RO has the check valve as a separate component in the system, which eliminates having to buy a membrane one with a built-in check valve. PLUS, I love it that PureDrop provides an extra set of filters for the next time the filters need to be changed.
After researching the filters, I found that I can buy generic filters for a lot less and if I wanted the Puredrop brand, it was not that much more.
INSTALLATION AND SMALLER TANK
The Puredrop RO system, which was easy to install with color coded water lines. So far everything is working fine and I really like the small compact tank, which gives me a lot more room for storage under the sink. There is no reason that I can see to have the larger tank for a family of two.
CONCLUSION
The Puredrop has been installed for a week when I wrote this review. I suspect that will not have any issues, but even if I do, I know that I can always call support: Nick or Don, and they will for sure take care of any issues I have for years to come.

I followed the installation instructions carefully and had no issues. There were no leaks and the water tasted fine. Initially though, I noticed some "floaters" in the water even after I purged the water in the tank 3 times so I emailed support. Richard from iSpring Water Systems responded and after following his instructions, it turned out the "floaters" were just fine air bubbles that disappeared within a few minutes of being left alone. I appreciate this company's fast response and willingness to help their customers.
Note: Plan and adjust how the tubes will run under the sink or it will look like a mess.

There are a lot of good reverse osmosis systems out there. But what happens when something goes wrong? Ours arrived with the wrong seal rings. I called and Adam said he'd send us the correct ones asap. He called back to say that they were out of the correct ones. I said that I had checked and the correct ones were hard to find and that they were surprisingly expensive. Adam promised to send us some replacement filters as compensation. I was shocked when he sent as couple of years of cartridges! As far as we are concerned, they have earned a 6-star review! Thanks again, Adam!

The components in this R/O system are of high quality and the instructions are very easy to follow.
One thing I would note is that when you are screwing in the 3 main cylindrical housings, each housing accepts 2 o-rings. One on the top and one on the side. The directions do not make this sufficiently clear. I wound up only installing the top o-ring and although I did not experience any leaks, I wish I had done both o-rings for security. I opted not to redo it, because the system was already at pressure and not leaking and it would have been messy to take it apart.
