While being a fairly simple process, reverse osmosis (RO) is one of the most powerful ways to guarantee a contaninat free drinking water supply.

During the process of reverse osmosis, high waterpressure forces water through a semi-permeable membrane that allows H2O and lower molecular weight substances to pass through while removing impurities that have higher molecular weight substances.

Achieving Reliable Drinking Water with RO Systems

While ridding your water of impurities is the goal of all water purification systems, RO systems are highly effective at doing this with a wide range of contaminants. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), RO systems are highly effective at removing protozoa, bacteria, viruses, common chemical contaminants including sodium, chloride, chopper, chromium, and lead. They are also able to reduce arsenic, fluoride, radium, sulfate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, nitrate, and phosphorous.

With up to 99% of impurity removal, RO systems set themselves apart from the rest.

Reverse osmosis, recognized as a highly efficient water purification technology, is widely used in  industries, daily life, and even in space. It tackles diverse challenges, from desalinating seawater and producing the majority of bottled water on Earth to serving as a pivotal process both on our planet and beyond.

With this incredible technology there comes some water waste. During the RO process, the treated water comes out of the faucet providing you with pure drinking water, and the rejected water that contains impurities known as brine that  is discarded. The pure-to-waste ratio is typically adjustable, often at 2:1 or even 3:1, and the reclaimed waste water can be recycled to further minimize the overall volume of generated wastewater, rendering it nearly negligible.

Though powerful on their own, often times RO filters do not work alone to provide you and your family with reliable drinking water. They are commonly paired with carbon block filters that work to trap chemicals and contaminants as well as alkaline filters that restore healthy minerals and taste to your water.

Meeting Your Needs with iSpring’s RO Filtration Systems

Like all systems, there is a range of products designed to fit consumers’ specific needs. While the upfront cost of a reverse osmosis system may seem high, it is important to take into consideration the long-term savings coupled with the fact you will have pure, clean water to drink and cook. Additionally, having an in-home RO system will reduce your consumption on bottled water and can help avoid potential healthcare costs related to contaminated water consumption.

There are four main types of RO systems we offer at iSpring:

  1. our traditional, under-the-sink models
  2. our tankless, under-the-sink models
  3. our countertop models
  4. our light commercial models

All of them are designed to offer on-demand high-quality drinking water. However, each style works to meet consumers’ different needs.

Traditional, Under-the-Sink Models

One of the main perks to our traditional, under-the-sink models is that they offer you the same superior, high-quality water all our RO systems provide, removing up to 99% of contaminants lurking in your water with a much more affordable price tag.  Additionally, they are capable of adding additional filters easily to meet customers’ different needs with the help of some basic parts and tools.

They are also highly serviceable since all parts are visible and accessible. And electricity is optional if the incoming water pressure is about 45 psi.

Two of our recommended under-the-sink models include the RCC7AK and the RCC7AK-UV.

Our RCC7AK

  1. Uses a 6-Stage Alkaline Remineralization Layered Filtration, exclusively esigned to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of water
  2. Employs an ultra-fine RO filter to remove contaminants down to 0.0001 microns
  3. Is NSF/ANSI 58 certified
  4. Employs a second-stage GAC filter and a third-stage carbon block filter to effectively eliminate chlorine, unpleasant tastes, odors, cloudiness, and sediment
  5. Uses a pressurized tank to ensure a stable water flow
  6. Produces up to 75 gallons of filtered water per day
  7. Can be connected directly to the refrigerator’s water supply

Our RCC7AK-UV carries all the same specifications as our RCC7AK filter. However, it also includes a seventh-stage UV ultraviolet filter(requires power) for comprehensive water purification that addresses additional water concerns that come with water sources such as lakes and streams.

Tankless Under-the-Sink Models

Our tankless models work the same as our other under-the-sink models. However, they save space since they are designed to be tankless and house their pump inside the unit. A few additional benefits they carry include easy installation, filter life reminder and convenient filter replacements, on top of generating less water waste compared to traditional models.

Two of our recommended tankless, under-the-sink RO models are our RO500AK-BN and RO600BN.

Our RO500AK-BN is our state-of-the-art tankless RO system that

  1. Employs a three-stage filtration system including a 2-in-1 composite PP Sediment and Carbon Block filter, an advanced RO Membrane, and a Carbon/Alkaline Filter that balances the pH level and enhances the taste with added-back minerals
  2. Produces up to 500 gallons of filtered water per day
  3. Fast water output, filling an 8 oz glass in 10 seconds
  4. contributes to reduced water bills and less water going down the drain because of its industry-leading pure-to-waste ratio (up to 2:1), saving water waste by up to 400% compared to traditional RO systems
  5. Features a filter life reminder light as well as easy filter replacement

Our RO600BN

  1. Employs a two-stage filtration system including a composite filter and a high-flow RO Membrane
  2. Has a built-in booster put that allows this system to produce up to 600 gallons of filtered water per day
  3. Fast water output, filling an 8 oz glass in 10 seconds
  4. Has a pure-to-waste ratio of up to 2.5:1, saving water waste by up to 400% compared to traditional RO systems
  5. Features a filter life reminder light as well as easy filter replacement

Countertop Models

We also carry countertop RO systems that require no installation, making it an ideal portable water filtration solution. These systems are not only easy to maintain, but also offers warm and hot water options.. Our featured countertop system is RCD100.

Our RCD100

  1. Requires no installation and only needs a plug-in to operate
  2. Features a revolutionary instant heating function that quickly allows a customized experience by providing four temperature settings
  3. Uses a five-stage filtration system
  4. Boasts a large-capacity water tank that holds 1.3 gallons of water
  5. Employs an innovative wastewater circulation technique that enhances the filtration performance, achieving an impressive and unbeatable up to 2.5:1 pure-to-drain water ratio
  6. Capable of producing up to 100 gallons of contaminant-free water per day
  7. Has convenience features such as a self-cleaning mode, a smart panel display, a twist-and-lock design for filter replacement, an energy-saving mode, a child safety lock, and a quiet operation

Light Commercial Models

On top of residential water filtration solutions, we also have light commercial products that enables our customers to take the quality of iSpring into their small businesses. Our light commercial systems provides a larger filtration capacity and water flow while saving space by not requiring a tank.

Our recommended light commercial system is our CRO1000. This system

  1. Employs a four-stage water filtration: including a 20" PP Sediment Filter with clear filter housing, allowing for easy water quality monitoring as well as easy filter monitoring, two 20" carbon block filters, and an RO membrane in a stainless steel membrane housing
